YZ

Danysz Gallery presents "Empress," a solo exhibition by Yseult Digan, known as YZ. The exhibition features a monumental installation across the gallery's three floors, reflecting ten years of work on her "Empress" series. This series began in 2015 with a portrait of Empress Wu Zetian and has since evolved globally. The current iteration, "Empress Celte," draws inspiration from Brittany and the artist's co-founding of Keyll Forêt Jardin, a space focused on druidic knowledge and natural practices.

The "Celtic Empresses" pay homage to the sacred trees of the Celtic calendar and the women who embody their symbolic energies. YZ, a Franco-British artist born in 1975, has exhibited at institutions like the Centre Pompidou and the ArtScience Museum. Her work includes the reinterpretation of Marianne for French postage stamps in 2017. The exhibition runs from November 29, 2025, to January 17, 2026, at Danysz Gallery in Paris.
