Ebb & Flow : Perceptions de l’Été

Galerie Nathalie Obadia presents "Ebb & Flow : Perceptions de l’Été" (Ebb & Flow: Perceptions of Summer), a group exhibition featuring works by artists including Valérie Belin, Roger Edgar Gillet, Quentin Gouevic, Fabrice Hyber, Shirley Jaffe, Hoda Kashiha, Sophie Kuijken, Meuser, Laure Prouvost, and Fiona Rae. The exhibition explores perceptions of summer through a diverse range of media such as photographs, paintings, drawings, and sculptures, examining themes of reminiscence and seasonal impressions.

The exhibition traces a progression from figuration to abstraction, with a particular focus on the representation of the face and its fragmentation. Works range from recognizable portraits and photographs to abstract pieces where the gesture and material memory become prominent.
