Solo Show
Tim Eitel presents "Solo Show", his third solo exhibition at the gallery, running from October 17 to November 21, 2026. Eitel uses painting to construct fictional parallel worlds from observed and experienced situations. His works are based on real encounters, photographed objects, or existing spaces, presenting a moment without a clear beginning or end, defined by spatial arrangements, light, and color relationships.
Eitel's practice is a deep exploration of the perception of space, light, and temporality, testing painting's capacity to represent these elements. He studied at the Hochschule für Grafik und Buchkunst in Leipzig and was a Meisterschüler of Arno Rink. A co-founder of the Galerie LIGA collective in Berlin, he is recognized as a significant figure of the New Leipzig School and a prominent painter of his generation.
