Sol LeWitt (1928–2007) was a pivotal figure in Minimalism and Conceptual Art, known for shifting artistic focus from the object to the idea behind it. His work explored how simple geometric forms and predetermined rules could generate complex visual outcomes. This exhibition, Gouaches & Sculptures, presents a selection of drawings, gouaches, and sculptures from various periods.

The works on display demonstrate LeWitt's consistent engagement with geometry and systematic variation. Lines radiate from points, geometric shapes are derived from basic volumes, and colored bands follow internal logic, illustrating his belief that a single concept can lead to multiple valid visual results. LeWitt's art is held in major international collections.
