"Permanent Display", the new solo exhibition by ROBIN KID at TEMPLON, Paris, questions how contemporary culture, dominated by social media and AI, transforms intimate and collective memories into marketable goods, potentially depriving youth of their present by reselling them a manufactured nostalgia for an imagined past.

The exhibition features works from the artist's new LIFE series alongside pieces from the past decade. These works examine the continuity of an artistic practice that investigates how inherited cultural images shape our perception of the present. The LIFE series, developed over several years, draws conceptual inspiration from a lyric by The Doors. Combining silkscreened aluminum cereal boxes with layered paintings derived from reproduced images, the works transform disposable packaging into enduring displays, arranged in serial formations that question the legibility and erosion of images over time.
