The exhibition features pieces that blend artisanal gestures with digital tools. Gaignard utilizes artificial intelligence to deconstruct and recompose forms, revealing them through light, sound, or material. The exhibition title, LATENT_BREATH(), takes its punctuation from Python code, symbolizing a new creative cycle. Works like Griza:j Hypermat’ employ lithophany, a 19th-century technique of creating images visible through backlighting, reinterpreted here using 3D printing and AI-generated botanical models. Bestiaire Paramétrique presents 3D-printed and painted hybrid fauna, exploring the tension between the disappearance of living beings and the proliferation of their images.
