Notas
Galerie Lelong, Paris, presents "Notas", an exhibition of drawings by Juan Uslé. These works, described as visual fragments that have accompanied the artist's practice for over 35 years, are characterized by repetition and variation, using ink, graphite, or watercolor to create spaces of breathing and poetic intensity.
Created in New York or in Uslé's studios in Saro, these drawings explore the connection between the artist and his surroundings, reflecting an inner listening that bridges abstraction and figuration. The exhibition is accompanied by a publication from La Fábrica that highlights the fundamental role of these works on paper in Uslé's creative process. Uslé, born in 1954, is also the subject of a retrospective at the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía in Madrid.
