Waterfall
Waterfall, an exhibition of new works by Jennifer Guidi, is on view from September 3 to October 10, 2026, at Gagosian rue de Ponthieu in Paris. Guidi's work in this exhibition is inspired by natural landscapes and internal reflections, translating them into abstract forms and vibrant colors. The artist explores the interconnected forces that shape natural features, depicting elements such as the sun, moon, shorelines, mountains, and waterfalls.
Guidi uses saturated colors and gradients to convey the dynamism of these landscapes, with hues of pink, violet, orange, and yellow appearing alongside blues, greens, and white. Her technique involves building up paintings through numerous discrete brushstrokes, a method that echoes the formal innovations of Pointillism, creating intense chromatic effects.
