Dialogues
Dialogues, held at Carpenters Workshop Gallery, Paris, presents a series of encounters between artists whose practices explore the intersection of functional art and collectible design. The exhibition is structured across three floors, fostering conversations between materials, forms, and artistic languages. It aims to show how artistic practices evolve and how different generations and approaches can converge through shared craftsmanship, experimentation, and the expressive potential of functional objects.
The exhibition features distinct dialogues on each floor. The ground floor pairs Ingrid Donat with Pierre Jeanneret, where Donat reinterprets Jeanneret's modernist furniture with her signature bronze surfaces and motifs. The first floor showcases the Campana Brothers and Nacho Carbonell, highlighting their organic and playful sensibilities. The top floor presents a dialogue between Rick Owens Furniture and Wendell Castle, exploring their distinct yet complementary approaches to working with wood, from fluid forms to monolithic structures.
