Ettore Spalletti & Dan Graham

Galerie Marian Goodman, Paris, presents an exhibition featuring works by Ettore Spalletti and Dan Graham. Both artists, though distinct in their approaches, explored the interplay of form, color, space, and perception, engaging the viewer directly within the artwork.

Spalletti's practice merged painting and sculpture, focusing on essential dimensions and spatiality with "atmospheric" colors that possess emotional depth. His works, such as "Colonna sola" and "Carte rosa," engage with classical forms and Renaissance masters, transforming color into an atmospheric element. Graham, conversely, utilized conceptual and functional art, creating works that blur boundaries between architecture and sculpture. His steel-and-glass pavilions, like "Tight Squeeze," employ reflection and transparency to create dynamic perceptual experiences, placing the viewer as both subject and object within the transformed space.
