Eric Colonel & Thomas Spit and Friends

Alice Gallery, Brussels presents "JARDIN EXTRAORDINAIRE," an exhibition by Eric Colonel and Thomas Spit, alongside four invited artists: Maite y Manuel, Șerban Ionescu, Francisco Mendes Moreira, and Jordy Kerwick. The exhibition features ceramics, glazed earthenware, works on paper, and sculpture, exploring a naive and colorful bestiary. Colonel and Spit's work, which evolved from calligraphic practice to a focus on imagination and tactile expression after a residency at Atelier Pierre Culot, is presented alongside pieces by artists known for their distinctive universes and vibrant creative energy.

This show also marks a second collaboration between Eric Colonel, Thomas Spit, and Atelier Pierre Culot, resulting in a limited edition series of 14 unique lamps. These pieces combine the master ceramist's sober aesthetic with the duo's grotesque and fantastical style. The exhibition runs from April 10 to May 16, 2026.
