Alchimies

Alchimies brings together Emmanuelle Leblanc and Hervé Wahlen, artists who transform matter into a sensitive language. Leblanc explores painting as a space of light and inner resonance, using gold and color to open sensory horizons. Wahlen transforms copper into vibrant forms, where patinated and hammered material becomes both light and sculptural presence. The exhibition invites a sensory and contemplative experience at the crossroads of art, matter, and mystery.

The exhibition weaves a dialogue between the vibrant density of Wahlen’s sculpted metal and the luminous spaces opened by Leblanc’s painting. Leblanc’s practice uses paint and gold leaf as vehicles for an inner quest, with chromatic nuances and format depth becoming thresholds toward the invisible. Wahlen approaches metal as a material in metamorphosis, with copper becoming a receptacle for deeper forces, its surface vibrating to create a living, almost organic presence. The dialogue traces a journey where strength meets delicacy, shadow meets transparency, and permanence meets movement.
