Les Choses De La Vie
Galerie Georges-Philippe & Nathalie Vallois, Paris presents "Daniel Spoerri, les choses de la vie," an exhibition featuring works by Daniel Spoerri. The exhibition showcases a selection of his "tableaux-pièges" (trap paintings) and assemblages, created between 1961 and 2000. These works are characterized by the artist's practice of fixing everyday objects onto surfaces, thereby preserving moments in time and transforming them into art.
Good Year for the Mechanical Bride" (1976), and "Teste fumanti – Mir raucht der Kopf (Steaming heads – My head is spinning)" (1995-2000). The exhibition explores Spoerri's engagement with found objects and his unique approach to composition.
