Moon Rising in Daylight

Almine Rech Paris, Turenne presents 'Moon Rising in Daylight,' the first solo exhibition by Christopher Le Brun with the gallery, running from October 18 to December 20, 2025. The exhibition explores Le Brun's approach to painting, where layers of paint and brushstrokes accumulate over time, creating surfaces to be surveyed rather than looked through. The artist's work invites viewers to consider the "hinterland" of a painting – its multiple sources and unstated elements that ground and connect it psychologically, culturally, or metaphysically.
