Works

This exhibition at Pierre Marie Giraud Brussels presents a joint showing of works by Bijoy Jain and Makiko Hattori. Bijoy Jain, founder of Studio Mumbai, contributes works that apply architectural thinking to smaller scales, featuring benches, chairs, lamps, bamboo mats, and stone blocks. Makiko Hattori, a Japanese ceramicist, exhibits sculptures built from numerous small elements, creating a subtle tension between softness and sharpness, with unglazed surfaces that interact with light. The exhibition is designed to allow for a quiet experience of space, material, and light.
